The Taiwanese first casino of the country

The Taiwanese Minister of Transport, Yeh Kuan-Shih, said on Thursday that the first casino of the country could open in 2019 if all the procedures are progressing as planned. After the weekly meeting of the Cabinet, M.Yeh announced the good news on Wednesday at a press conference. The Cabinet approved the draft law which complies with texts currently in force in the country and it is only the parliament approval which is expected by the government to receive licence applications from casino operators on Matsu.

Three operators are already interested in the construction of the casino. The U.S. Company Weidner Resorts is one of them and thinks for a site on Matsu. The parliament vote will be preceded by a thorough review of applications. And since it takes four to five years to build such a hotel-casino complex, Yeh Kuan-shih believes that the first casino with slot machines, and other casino games offerings, will be launched in 2019. Meanwhile, online game like Hulk with Marvel Jackpot is already playable online.
